Since 2020, Primordial Multicultural Healing Community promotes initiatives and provides programs and courses around mindfulness meditation, contemplative practices, and somatic (body-based) awareness techniques. We focus on making these practices available to non-dominant cultural groups, especially Latinx communities.
This work is possible thanks to carefully built partnerships:
The close collaboration with the Latino Academy of Workforce Development gave birth to the Mindfulness Initiative the first educational program that combines English language learning with the practice of mindfulness.

Thanks to a long-lasting partnership with the Latino Health Council and New Bridge, we offer a pilot mindfulness course for seniors. Together, we strive to recognize the value and wisdom of older adults. As a community of elders, they, too, have the ability to adapt to change and enhance their wellbeing in this stage of their lives.
MICA (Multicultural Initiative for Community Advancement) is Primordial’s fiscal sponsor. Thanks to their support with the maintenance of an individual tax-exempt entity, we are able to better focus our energies on our vision and mission.
