As an immigrant-, BIPOC- and women-led organization, we aim to provide direct connection and share insight on the lived experiences of non-dominant groups, especially Spanish-speaking populations. All of our courses are facilitated by certified mindfulness and yoga instructors, natural healers, somatic practitioners, artists, and psychologists that will support your adventure of self-discovery.

The majority of our courses are currently offered online, with the possibility of transitioning to in-person.

courses and programs

90-min intro session to mindfulness (online). From the comfort of your living room, connect with others in a live group format to explore and learn what mindfulness is about.

Is an 8-week restorative and psychoeducational group program that offers you practical ways to reduce the impact of stress and develop capacity for greater balance.

Together we will discover how mindfulness in a group setting can provide us the opportunity to pause for 1.5 hours every week during 5 weeks, and tune our attention inward.

Think of this program, “Come as You Are!” as a space where we can create and sustain a community of belonging where, in solidarity, we come together to rest, move, heal, play, explore, celebrate, empower, and inspire each other.

  • Sylvia is a creative, dedicated mindfulness instructor, who infuses her classes with humor, stories, perspective, and joy. Committed to ongoing learning for herself and others, she brings a true spirit of curiosity, courage, and kindness to the practice. Sylvia creates a caring environment for her students, models vulnerability, and weaves her life experiences in three languages and multiple cultures into her teaching. As a teacher colleague, I learn a lot from Sylvia each time we work together, and I’m certain her students do as well. Her classes are filled with unexpected gifts and are highly recommended.

Healing justice and mindfulness efforts within Black, Indigenous and communities of color are often about reclaiming the ancestral wisdom, technologies and ancient ways of being of our cultures and communities. BIPOC healers and teachers lead with ancestral practices and life ways that may not be recognized as “mindfulness” by mainstream institutions, but are the deep well from which many people of color draw power to heal and sustain themselves.
